Happy Boy --------->

It was bound to happen...not long after we brought Kevin home, Kendra saw him nursing and promptly opened her mouth and pointed while indicating she would like some.  Now, maybe there are momma's out there who would comply, however, those little chompers scare me more than a bit so I simply told her that it was for babies...and she is mommy's little girl, not a baby!  This prompted her to go around labeling everyone either boy, or girl.  It is pretty cute to see her point to people as they are introduced and tell them emphatically that they are either a boy or a "guhl".  Sometimes she shakes it up a bit and tells them what they are not - "her not a boyee!"  She has added a new twist for brother though...apparently we have been a little vocal on his new personality because he is the only "boyee" that gets the distinguished "habby" inserted before his title.  Daddy, uncle, and "poppa" are NOT happy!  :-)  This morning I found her nursing her teddy bear.  It was clear to me what she was doing, although she didn't seem to mind that he was using her belly button.  She doesn't discriminate!  (Auntie taught her "boob", to my chagrin it took hold before I could correct it to "chest" so she goes around now pointing and saying it :-/).  The other thing she is doing now is REMEMBERING!  What I mean is, she will remember that you said she could help do the dishes after she puts her toys in her room, and if you offer her something else she likes, like taking a bath, she will remind you of what you said!  This is why it is hard for me to remember that she isn't even 2 yet!  In many aspects she is a baby, but she acts so grown sometimes!
