3 Months

Kevin is getting so BIG!  He now weighs 14 pounds, 9 ounces!  At three months, he is almost filling out the 6 month clothes both length and width wise.  I am having delightful cuddle moments - he is just so soft and round and happy!  Since I have been blessed with such a pain-free nursing routine this time, I am really beginning to feel sad for those moms who are not able to experience the bonding that takes place while their babies are eating.  Kevin is constantly maintaining eye contact, giving smiles and little eyebrow face gestures and in general being absolutely the biggest ham ever.  It is something I look forward to and I absolutely love how warm and soft his little milky cheeks are.  The poor kid is going to think that hourly smooches are an essential part of life if I keep this up :-)!  It was sad last week when I had to pack away all the 3 month clothes...I think even more sad than when I did it with Kendra because I now know just how fast this sweet baby phase slips by - bringing new and fun phases yes, but I will still miss this.
