2 Weeks old!

Kevin turned 2 weeks old today!  He celebrated early into the morning hours...with Mommy...yawn :-)

I was thinking that he might be getting a double chin, and his little bird legs are looking more round.  I was not prepared for the staggering amount of weight he gained!  In one week, he added 1lb 7oz to his little man body!  It's no surprise, he NEVER misses a meal.  I am excited if he goes 3 hours without eating.  He is so different from his sister.  She would eat and then sleep for 3 or 4 hours.  It has made a difference in my energy level, but I am coping by sneaking in a nap whenever I can, and, maybe, he will gradually lengthen his naps too.  Right now, we are working on learning to enjoy bowel movements (for Kevin of course...:-)).  Although he eats and eats, he doesn't want to let anything out, burps, spit up, etc...  I think he will eventually grow out of these good manners and when he does he will not be so cranky after meal time.  Even though he has these small things to learn, he is overall pretty easy going.  His form of crankiness involves lot's of male grunting, rarely some soft cries, hardly ever loud cries.  I think we'll keep him!
